Providence Crowned Kings of the East Division Monday, September 29th , 2008 The Providence Grays have captured the East Division for the 3rd time. In what was a tight race into the season's final days, the Grays have come out on top and will be heading to the postseason full of confidence. "We feel good. The East Division is full of great teams and we were pushed all season long," said closer Allen Coleman. "People can argue who they think is going to win the Amateur Circuit Cup, but there's a lot of belief in this room." A championship would be the 2nd in franchise history. |
