ABC Star of the Week Announced Monday, September 15th , 2008 Speak softly and carry a big stick and you could win the Amateur Baseball Circuit Player of the Week Award just like Justin Allen. He really dazzled on the diamond this week with a .522 average to take home the trophy. The Long Beach left fielder went 12-for-23, drove in 11 runs, scored 12 times and hit 5 home runs. At present, Allen is batting .373 and has collected 11 home runs, 36 RBIs, .481 OBP and scored 26 runs. |
