Lillie Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, September 11th , 2008 David Lillie of the Brooklyn Atlantics tagged 1 hit in today's 6-3 loss to the Dallas Bulls at Atlantics Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." David Lillie struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, grounded out in the 10th, flied out in the 12th, flied out in the 14th and struck out in the 16th. In this current campaign Lillie is hitting at a .293 clip with 10 home runs and 45 RBIs. |
