Week's Best Player Honored by ABC Monday, September 1st , 2008 Aaron Hernandez of the Oil City Oilers had an outstanding week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Amateur Baseball Circuit. For the week the 22-year-old left fielder batted .450 (9-for-20) with 5 home runs and 9 RBIs. Hernandez is swinging at a .302 pace on the year with 20 home runs, 40 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has played in 66 games. |
