Romano Shines in 6-0 Gem Monday, August 18th , 2008 Jon Romano pitched a strong game at Yuma Grounds, blanking the Manhattan Liberty, 6-0. Romano allowed no runs on 8 hits, totaled 9 strikeouts and gave up no walks. Yuma manager Jose Perez said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Romano.
