In an unforgettable performance, the 24-year-old Brown fanned 15 Liberty and sparked the 8-0 Long Beach Titans victory over Manhattan. He left Liberty hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. "I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Long Beach manager Danny Harden. "His location and command were really something." In addition to collecting 15 strikeouts over 8 innings, Brown allowed 1 hit and 3 walks in a superlative outing.
