Salt Lake City Newcomer September's #1 Rookie Wednesday, October 1st , 2008 Youngster Steve Moss emerged as the latest Western Circuit Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Salt Lake City deserved the honor, batting .263 with 4 home runs and 12 runs batted in. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Moss enjoy the limelight. So far this season, Moss has recorded a .257 batting average with 78 hits, 12 home runs, 44 RBIs, 39 runs scored and a .298 OBP. |
