Easterling Best WC Starter Wednesday, October 1st , 2008 It was a monstrous September for the Western Circuit Pitcher of the Month award winner, Paul Easterling of the St. Louis Lions. He put up some mighty scary numbers. Easterling recorded 5 wins and no losses in 5 starts. Throwing a total of 37 innings, he yielded 29 hits, mowed down 44 on strikes, gave up 9 walks and put up a solid ERA of 1.22 in a stellar month on the mound. Checking out his stats for the season, Easterling has racked up 15 wins and 4 losses in 22 starts, posted a 3.46 ERA, and struck out 156 batters in 156 innings. |
