Moore Nets EC #1 Pitcher Award Wednesday, October 1st , 2008 September's premier pitcher was Jake Moore of Chicago Blackhawks. He pulverized Eastern Circuit hitters all month long and picked up the Pitcher of the Month award. The Blackhawks star hurler fashioned a 5-1 record en route to the honor. He had 19 strikeouts in 25.1 innings and compiled a 2.49 ERA. Other clubs hit .202 against him. In 14 starts this season, Moore has rung up a 12-6 record and a 3.30 ERA. |
