September's EC Batter of Month Award Announced Wednesday, October 1st , 2008 Jim Wermter may be much younger than other hitters in the Eastern Circuit, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Atlanta right fielder hit .310 with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This season, Wermter is batting .293 with 93 hits and 18 home runs. He has scored 62 times and has 42 runs batted in. |
