But for now the young New York City Blues star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the Eastern Circuit Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .314 average with 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Thus far this year, Thompson is batting .316 with 19 home runs, 45 RBIs and 45 runs scored. |
