Santana Silences New York City, 5-0 Tuesday, August 26th , 2008 Ricardo Santana of the Toronto Titans was on top of his game. The 31-year-old tantalized the New York City Blues with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest, shutting them out, 5-0. "He had the changeup working," New York City manager Cole Hobson said in postgame comments. "You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower." The Toronto hurler had 8 strikeouts, gave up 4 walks and surrendered 2 hits in his complete-game effort.
