Chicago's Aguilar Sidelined for Season Wednesday, August 13th , 2008 The season is apparently over for Javier Aguilar. The Chicago Blackhawks medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 12 months with a damaged elbow ligament. Aguilar was hurt in the game against Denver while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. To date this season, Aguilar is 3-6 with 13 starts and an ERA of 4.59 with 70 strikeouts in 82.1 innings. |
