Titans Cory Murnane Will Miss Season Tuesday, August 12th , 2008 The season is ending on a bad note for Cory Murnane, reliever for the Toronto Titans. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Murnane was hurt against the Los Angeles Knights while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for at least 12-13 months. Murnane has made 32 relief appearances this year and notched 7 saves. To date in 58 innings he has a 2-0 record, 2.64 ERA with 57 strikeouts and 16 walks. |
