Professional Baseball Circuit Top Hurler Announced Friday, November 7th , 2008 The Tampa Bay Thunder have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Kevin Schuerger, this year's Professional Baseball Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Schuerger compiled a 17-4 record in 22 starts, tallied 202 strikeouts in 172 innings and recorded a 2.72 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .235 batting average against him. He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 16.
