The Philadelphia Keystones topped the Chicago Blackhawks by a score of 6-4. Leading the way was left fielder Darryl Simpkins. Simpkins went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Keystones. The win was credited to Jeff Nesbitt in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Charlie Lipsey took the loss. The win puts Philadelphia at 5-5.

Philadelphia designated hitter Cody Vannette contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a changeup to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 15th hit of the season and put the Keystones ahead, 1-0.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Simpkins.
