Amateur Circuit Cup Sweep for St. Petersburg
The St. Petersburg Pelicans stunned the Providence Grays by sweeping the Amateur Circuit Cup 3-0. The Pelicans dumped them 5-4 today at Providence Field in the deciding game of the series.

This was the 1st time St. Petersburg has been the league champions. During the regular season the powerful Pelicans chalked up a 62-26 mark and finished in first place in the Central Division.
