Shamrocks Heading to Cup Qualifier
The dream of raising a championship banner in Boston took a big step forward today. The Boston Shamrocks have won the Play-in Series, eliminating the Washington Warriors to advance to the Cup Qualifier.

Boston won the final game 8-0 and the series 3-1.

Naoto Sugahara was named series MVP for a huge performance. He hit .308 with a .438 on-base percentage. He drove in 6 RBI, had 2 home runs and scored 2 runs.

The Boston Shamrocks will play against the Tampa Bay Thunder in the next round. Tampa Bay had a bye in the Play-in Series. The Cup Qualifier is scheduled to begin on October 6th , 2008.
