Good production from designated hitter Malachi Thompson helped the New York City Blues topple the Philadelphia Keystones, 4-2. Thompson went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Blues. The Blues are now 27-37, while the Keystones fall to 30-34.

With New York City leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Thompson hit a 2-run single off Philadelphia hurler Chris Roche. It was the 74th hit of the season for Thompson and put his team ahead, 3-0.
