The Dallas Texans, behind a great outing from Christian Goyer, who is tied for 8th in the WC in innings pitched with 114.0, defeated the Las Vegas Aces, 2-1, at Everything's Bigger in Texas Ballpark. Xavier Rodriguez, credited with the save, is now 3 for 3 in save opportunities. The 6th-place Texans now sit at 29-35.

Justin Staples hit a 2-run home run off Austin Wilson in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Texans ahead, 2-1. In addition to the homer, Staples had 1 double, while going 2 for 3.
