Thunder LF Miyake drives in 4 runs in Win
The Tampa Bay Thunder defeated the St. Louis Lions, 7-5. Doing his part was left fielder Kengo Miyake, who was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. With Tampa Bay leading 4-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Miyake came up to bat against St. Louis pitcher Kevin Williams. Miyake hit a slider to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Thunder on top, 7-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Miyake told the Tampa Bay Herald.
