With Late Score, Keystones Beat Cutthroats
The Denver Cutthroats could not turn a fine performance from pitcher David Torres into a win. Instead, the Philadelphia Keystones prevailed, 5-4. Torres threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Danny Beasley, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4 innings. Philadelphia has a record of 24-28, placing them 4th in the Eastern Circuit.
