The Denver Cutthroats stopped the Philadelphia Keystones, 8-4, at Keystones Stadium. The Cutthroats got a big game from Kyle Prater, who was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Mike Green locked down his 11th save. The Cutthroats bumped their record to 33-18 with this win.

An inflection point occurred with no one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Cutthroats second baseman Dan Weiss hit a changeup from Jason Davis for a 2-run single. Just like that, Denver was up, 3-2.
