Alex Arias pitched a gem to lead Los Angeles to victory over the Dallas Texans, 5-1. The Knights improved their record to 28-39 with the win over Dallas.

Cedric Merrit had a big run-scoring double for the Knights in the top of the fifth inning. With Los Angeles leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a slider from 31-year old right-handed pitcher Steve Aubin and swatted a double to right. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Knights ahead, 2-0.

Merrit called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
