The Philadelphia Keystones wanted a good start from Matthew Steele -- and he delivered one. The result was a 3-2 Philadelphia win over the Denver Cutthroats at Keystones Stadium. Jeff Nesbitt earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. His record is now 4-6. The Keystones are now 23-26.

The Keystones were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 30-year old center fielder Jordan Thompson landed a big blow. He turned a first pitch slider from Mike Green into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Keystones Stadium denizens into a frenzy and sent the Keystones home with a thrilling 3-2 win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Thompson said.
