Wadden Helps Texans Win, 6-3, with Pair of Homers
|
Getting a good performance from left fielder Bill Wadden, the Dallas Texans defeated the Atlanta Pilots, 6-3. Wadden went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Texans. Christian Goyer got credit for the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 7 innings. Dallas sits in 6th place in the Western Circuit at 16-19.
Dallas used the hitting of Mahir Ezrahi to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Texans on top, 4-3. For the game, Ezrahi had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Ezrahi said.
