Keystones Lose to Thunder, 8-4
|
Getting a good performance from center fielder Darnell Phillips, the Tampa Bay Thunder defeated the Philadelphia Keystones, 8-4. Phillips was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Thunder. The winning pitcher was Bobby Walker. His record now stands at 4-1. The right-hander went 8 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits for the Thunder. With the win, the Thunder sit at 14-9.
