A good performance from shortstop Matt Lopresti helped the Philadelphia Keystones defeat the Tampa Bay Thunder, 5-4. Lopresti hit 2 home runs for the Keystones. The winner was Philadelphia reliever Bill Wright, now 2-0. The loser was Kevin Schuerger. With the win, the Keystones hiked their record to 13-9.

Philadelphia took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 4-4, when Jordan Thompson hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Keystones in front, 5-4.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Lopresti told the Philadelphia Today.
