Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Philadelphia Keystones got the win.

The Philadelphia Keystones beat the Boston Shamrocks, 4-2, at Keystones Stadium. Jarred Grubic, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Picking up the win was Chris Roche. He went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. The right--hander struck out 9 and walked 5.

With Philadelphia leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Grubic hit a cutter from Nick Hafer for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Keystones ahead, 3-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Grubic.

With the win, Philadelphia elevates its record to 8-8.
