Best ABC Hurler Chosen for 2007 Friday, October 19th , 2007 The Pitcher of the Year Award for 2007 has been announced and the Amateur Baseball Circuit winner is Allan Sampson of the Yuma Gnomes. With a record of 8-1, Sampson was certainly a worthy winner. He made 16 starts and rang up 101 innings, 148 strikeouts and a 1.69 ERA. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 16. Dustin Corral of the Arlington Stars finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Craig Ringe of the Tulsa Twisters finished third.
