ABC Honors Whitcraft, #1 Batter in September Monday, October 1st , 2007 Matt Whitcraft is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Franklin first baseman joined that select company when the Amateur Baseball Circuit announced the results of September's voting. Whitcraft totaled 28 hits, 10 walks, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored last month to put together a .444 batting average and .545 on-base percentage. In this current campaign Whitcraft is hitting at a .329 clip with 4 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
