Saturday, September 29th , 2007
Doctors in Franklin said Matt Erez might not play anymore this year. The Knights starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament during a game against the Oil City Oilers and will be out for at least 14 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
Erez has a 5-4 season record so far. In 11 starts, he has fanned 113 batters in 75.1 innings with a 2.75 ERA.
