Arlington Loses Emmanuel Rucker, Will Miss Season Friday, September 28th , 2007 The doctors have spoken and Emmanuel Rucker of the Arlington Stars didn't like what he heard. The 25-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Rucker sustained his season-ending injury during the Dallas Bulls game yesterday at Dallas Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Arlington medical staff reported Rucker had radial nerve compression and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months. |
