Stars Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, September 23rd , 2007 It's now time for the Arlington Stars to start turning their attention to what can be done to help improve the club for next season. The team was formally eliminated from playoff contention today for the 2007 season. "We knew a title was a long shot at this point, but mentally there's a big difference between a tiny chance and no chance at all," said Stars catcher Billy Walton. In their 5 seasons in Amateur Baseball Circuit, the Stars have still yet to qualify for the playoffs. |
