Tulsa Left Fielder Nets ABC Award Monday, August 13th , 2007 Amateur Baseball Circuit pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Jeremy Cooksey of the Tulsa Twisters out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 23-year-old left fielder boasted a .565 average with 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Cooksey went 13-for-23 for the week. To date this season, Cooksey is hitting .341 with 4 home runs. |
