Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Dorsainvil Thursday, August 9th , 2007 Nobody has been able to shut down Boston Battalion second baseman John Dorsainvil in recent days. The Houston Apollos fared no better than the rest. Today at Boston Field, Dorsainvil picked up 1 hit in 3 at-bats en route to a win, 3-0. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. John Dorsainvil doubled in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. In 2007 Dorsainvil has hit at a .331 clip with 40 hits, 3 home runs, 14 RBIs and has scored 19 times. |
