Manhattan's Bobby Chambless Calling it Quits Thursday, August 2nd , 2007 Bobby Chambless said he's made enough money in professional baseball, so it's time to move on. "I did pretty well for myself, my bank account isn't hurting, maybe I'll become a manager or a team owner or something so I can make even more," he said, announcing this season would be his last. "I'm 37 years old, so I've still got some time to make something of the rest of my life." Since he came into the league, Chambless has 2 saves with a 25-25 record and a 3.36 ERA. |
