What an impressive week of work for Tory Shumock of the Oil City Oilers, the latest winner of the Amateur Baseball Circuit Player of the Week Award.
He stood head and shoulders above his peers with a fine 2-0 won-lost record.
For the week the Oilers hurler compiled a 0.00 ERA, yielded 8 hits and fanned 16 in 12.1 innings.
This season, Shumock has gone 3-1 with an ERA of 1.23, posting 58 strikeouts in 36.2 innings.
