Ream Blasts 3 out of the Park Thursday, June 21st , 2007 It was a good day for the Long Beach Titans and an exceptional one for Ryan Ream. The 30-year-old third baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Titans beat the Oil City Oilers, 9-3, at Long Island Park. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Ream said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 5 runs and smacked 4 hits in 4 at-bats. Ryan Ream hit a solo-shot off Matt McMorrow in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Matt McMorrow in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Chris Fisher in the 7th. |
