Eagles Win Division Series Saturday, October 6th , 2007 The dream of raising a championship banner in Newark took a big step forward today. The Newark Eagles have won the Division Series, eliminating the Ottawa Capitals to advance to the Division Championship Series. Newark won the final game 7-2 and the series 3-1. Nate Spalding was named series MVP for a huge performance. He hit .368 with a .429 on-base percentage. He drove in 3 RBI, had 1 home runs and scored 3 runs. The Newark Eagles don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Allentown Fleetwings - Quebec City Admirals series. Quebec City leads the series 2 games to 1.
