Rollers Haymes Out of Action Tuesday, October 2nd , 2007 When Jonathan Haymes was hurt against the Southern California Empires, the Las Vegas Rollers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 34-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Haymes would miss 12 months of the season. In 22 starts this year, Haymes has crafted a 11-9 record and a 3.05 ERA. |
