Angel Arzola Claims SPBC Batting Title Sunday, September 30th , 2007 If Angel Arzola continues to produce like he did in 2007, fans of the Quebec City Admirals will be very happy. The first baseman posted a .333 batting average this year, which was good enough to capture the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit batting crown. "There are a lot of talented hitters in the league, to be at the top of that list is an extremely humbling goal," said the 33-year-old. On the season, Arzola put up 101 hits, 18 doubles, no triples and 21 home runs. He also added 57 RBIs and scored 50 runs. |
