No Playoff Berth Coming for Winnipeg Sunday, September 30th , 2007 The mood in the Winnipeg Buffaloes clubhouse was noticeably subdued today, as the club's fate on the season was officially sealed -- they will miss the postseason. "We put ourselves in this position," said Buffaloes first baseman Dennis Ziemer. "Nobody to blame but us." This is the 5th time in a row that the Buffaloes have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2002. |
