Sijbrandij Holds Albany Scoreless Thursday, September 6th , 2007 In a very sharp performance at Fleetwings Ballpark, Kjeld Sijbrandij of the Allentown Fleetwings blanked the Albany Senators, 8-0. He permitted 7 hits and finished with 5 strikeouts and 4 walks in the Fleetwings victory. "Kjeld goes out there and just goes about his business," Fleetwings manager Craig McCain said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on. No matter the pitch, you know he's going to be where he needs to be." So far this year, Sijbrandij has made 18 starts, tossed 124.2 innings, struck out 96 batters and walked 43.
