SPBC Player of the Week Named Monday, September 3rd , 2007 There's no arguing that 35-year-old John Wayne has paid his dues and this week he collected. The Albany Senators second baseman had one of the best weeks of his career and captured the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit Player of the Week trophy. He hit .625 while collecting 10 hits in 16 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 2 runs scored. So far this year, Wayne has 3 home runs and a .286 batting average. |
