Stone Voted SPBC's #1 Rookie Saturday, September 1st , 2007 When it came to hitting the baseball, Cody Stone had few peers in the Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit last month. The gifted third baseman for Calgary tagged opposing pitchers for a .321 average and was voted the Rookie of the Month for August. Included in his stats were 26 hits, 3 homers, 13 runs scored and 11 RBIs. In 2007 Stone has hit at a .265 clip with 57 hits, 5 home runs, 22 RBIs and has scored 25 times. |
