Winnipeg-Saskatoon Deal: Estrada for Zook Saturday, December 22nd , 2007 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Buffaloes announced today the acquisition of 23-year old minor league LHP Antonio Zook and 17-year old minor league RHP Dale Tillett from the Saskatoon Moose in exchange for 33-year old RHP Mario Estrada. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Buffaloes, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Since coming into the league Estrada has piled up a 3.67 ERA with 20 saves. In 98 games, he has a 13-11 won-lost mark and has fanned 124 batters in 142.1 innings. |
