Vacaville Ace Wins SPBC Pitcher of the Year Award Sunday, November 4th , 2007 The Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit announced today that Johnny McGee has been chosen the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2007. The Vacaville starter had everything working for him this past season as he soared to a 11-5 record. In his exceptional season McGee chalked up a 2.42 ERA in 145.1 innings with 121 strikeouts and 30 walks. Enemy teams hit .222 against him in his 18 starts. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 16. Ian Estes of the Albany Senators finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Corey Ferrari of the Edmonton Drillers finished third.
