San Francisco Sweeps Thunder Saturday, October 20th , 2007 The San Francisco Peanuts made it look easy today as they collected the 2nd Pro Circuit Cup championship in club history. They swept the Tampa Bay Thunder in straight games, winning the series 4-0. The Peanuts disposed of Tampa Bay 3-2 in the series finale at Garibaldi's Grounds. "They were the better team this year, no doubt about it," said Thunder manager Dick Granade. During the regular season, San Francisco put up a 53-35 record and finished third in the Western Circuit.
