Peanuts Move on to Cup Qualifier Friday, October 5th , 2007 The San Francisco Peanuts are off to the Cup Qualifier after an exciting Play-in Series triumph. San Francisco downed the St. Louis Lions, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 10-3 win tonight at The Lions Hearth wrapping up the series 3-2. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Ben White, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. White put up a .391 with a .417 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 2 runs and scored 4 runs himself. The San Francisco Peanuts will play against the Denver Cutthroats in the next round. Denver had a bye in the Play-in Series. The Cup Qualifier is scheduled to begin on October 6th , 2007.
